favorite place to buy music?

What is your favorite place to buy music? A store with a knowledgable staff, affordable prices, and a good selection of conscious hip-hop?

    since you're looking for a store more knowledgable of hip hop, then in terms of vinyl, i'd suggest B-Side Records in Berkeley (www.bsiderecords.com). they get mostly commercial stuff, but they do get some conscious stuff that they feel will sell.

    as for music stores in general, i buy mostly vinyl, but even when it comes to CDs, i normally shop at B-Side Records and Amoeba, unless it's a particular CD i'm looking for: then i'll go where it's cheapest! haha...
