Re: Turntable Repair
Thu, November 10, 2005 - 9:23 PMthere's B-Side Records in Berkeley (www.bsiderecordshop.com), who are friends of mine. they have someone who mainly fixes broken RCA's, so i'm not sure about much else but it's worth a try.
you can try Ultra Soundz Records in San Bruno, but i'm not sure if they still do it (change in ownership) and last time i took my turntable to get fixed there, it took weeks.
there used to be a guy named Jamie James who ran a business called TableWorks, but the website is down now. you might want to try calling the number off of the flyer, though, which is (415) 641-1111.
i'd try calling B-Side Records first (510-548-4882), though. good luck!
